Army Wives

Ben has been gone for three weeks and it sucks but he is doing well. His platoon keeps getting in trouble (not Ben's fault) so they have to do a ton of push ups and his guard duty was upped two hours. The wives in Ben's unit have been super sweet and invited me to some activities and Ben hasn't even really been a part of the unit. I'm excited to make new friends and find out how they do it when their spouses are gone for so long.

On a side note, I need to find a good pair jeans. Any suggestions?

Its seems like these days I like to take tons of pictures of Cinnamon. I need to pick up a new hobby.

I've got tons more saved on my computer.

So excited!!

I got six letters from Ben yesterday!! Baaaaaahhhh! I can't contain my excitement. He is doing very well and is just starting the real basic training (he was in reception for a week). I am soo glad that he is doing so well. I miss him a lot.

So, I guess I should update everyone on what is going on with us. We spent Christmas with Ben’s family in Chicago. It was a lot of fun, and it was great to take a whole week of work off. It was my first Christmas without my family and it was hard, but Ben’s family was super nice and they made me feel very at home. I loved being with them and playing with Ben’s two year old niece, Shayna. She was really cute and funny. She reminds me of Wall-E. Ha ha. I hope to go back there soon!

We were losers and didn’t do much on New Year’s. We watched tv and then went to bed kinda early. I guess that happens when you get married and stuff.

Ben left last week to go to basic training. He joined the Army Reserves a couple of months ago and he will be gone for six months : ( Ben will be training in Fort Knox, Kentucky for about 9 weeks and then he will go to Fort Bragg, NC for about 12 weeks. He will be doing Civil Affairs. I’m not really sure what they do exactly but I do know that it will help him in the long run for the job he wants. Ben is really excited about it, and I am excited/scared/nervous. He has only been gone a week and I hate that I can’t be with him. Someone from his Bishopric called on Sunday to give me a message from him. It was something like, “I’m still alive, and I’m doing fine. I miss you a lot and I love you.” I started to cry. I really miss him. Fortunately, my mom and my sister are staying with me for a little while. That way I am not so alone and they keep my mind busy, so I can’t be all sad and stuff. And I love having my mom in town because she cleans my house and makes me dinner. Ha ha.

I'll post pictures soon, I promise.

It's Over

Vampire Knight is over forever!!! Noooo! It's sad but the last episode was awesome. Here is the video from the guys that sing the opening song. I think its weird they never look at each other.
